Nine Dragon Cocktails
The InterContinental Hong Kong's Lobby, renowned for its spectacular panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island, has introduced signature 'Nine Dragon Cocktails' -- a fitting way to toast to the hotel's good feng shui and the legend of the Nine Dragons of Kowloon.
According to legend, the nine dragons descend from the mountains each dawn to bath in the harbour and each dusk to drink from the harbour. As dragons can magically pass through glass, the InterContinental Hong Kong's Lobby provides an alluring pathway. This mythical procession has graced the hotel with exceptional good fortune and feng shui.
Selections from our special Nine Dragon Menu include the Nine Dragons, Dragontini, Dragon Slayer, Golden Dragon, Pearl Dragon, Blushing Dragon, Royal Dragon and the non-alcoholic Virgin Dragon and Green Dragon. Prices range from approximately US$14.00 - $25.00 per cocktail.
A Symphony of Lights
Now, there is a stunning new show entitled 'A Symphony of Lights' taking place on Hong Kong's famed Victoria Harbour every evening from 8:00 pm. This spectacular 13-minute multi-media light and sound show combines interactive light and musical effects to tell the story of Hong Kong by showcasing key buildings on both the Hong Kong Island and Kowloon peninsula's skyline.
For a mesmerizing experience, enjoy signature "Nine Dragon Cocktails" and specialty martinis at sunset as the Hong Kong skyline changes from golden hues to a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours or during the nightly "Symphony of Lights" laser show on Victoria Harbour.
